- The Dress Jazzy June 2006
TDC will be performing The Dress for JazzyJune 2006, the 5th annual Purposeful Networking event of Women's Resource. The event will be held at Tacoma's Landmark Convention Center. Tickets are available in advance for $37.50 or at the door for $42.50. Call 253 572-9108 for more information. The evening includes entertainment, Raffle drawing, appetizer buffet and no-host bar and showcase tables of various businesses/services.
The Dress was first commissioned by The Museum of Glass in response to the Karen LaMonte exhibit Absence Adorned.
TDC will also be performing excerpts of their new work The Furnature Pieces. The performances will be at the Tacoma School of the Arts Theatre and proceeds benefit the new MLK Ballet in Tacoma. Tickets are $10 at the door. Performance dates and times are:
